Rocky Mountain Axe Throwing is an urban axe throwing shop located in the Sandy – Midvale area of Utah. We are easily located right off the freeway at 90th South and I-15. We serve the entire Salt Lake Valley, including Sandy, Draper, Riverton, Bluffdale, Herriman, South Jordan, West Jordan, West Valley, Midvale, Murray, Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Millcreek, Taylorsville, Sugarhouse, Kearns, Salt Lake, or whatever surrounding city you belong. 

We are open Monday – Saturday. All reservations must be made ONLINE and participants must complete our online waiver and wear closed-toe shoes. We do accept walk-ins if there is space, but sessions start and end at specific times so it is HIGHLY recommended to book in advance! General Admission Rate is $15/Person for 1 Hr of Throwing. If you want a Private Experience you can book out the whole facility for your group. To view our rates go to our Pricing Page. We accept bookings for birthday parties, team-building events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, reunions, or just a different fun night out with friends. Axe Throwing is an awesome date night idea! If you want a customized unique experience you can book a Private Party! For Private Parties, you can book a Food Truck, Cater, or bring in your own food and drink! No alcohol.

Every session starts with safety and instruction, and we are happy to help you with games or even host a tournament for Private Parties. After just a few minutes of working with one of our certified instructors, you will be sticking the bullseye! If you need drinks or snacks we have those. We have Sodas, Water, Gatorade and a variety of candy bars and chips.

At Rocky Mountain Axe Throwing we have 4 axe throwing bays. Each axe throwing bay has two targets, so we have 8 total throwing targets. When you book an axe throwing bay online you will have two targets. That bay can be shared between 2-6 players of the same group. You will not be placed in the same bay with another group. We do this so our customers feel comfortable and maintain a safe distance from other customers. When you book more than one bay we will make sure your are next to each other for the best experience. 

Tuesday and Wednseday nights seem popular for youth groups. If you wish to bring in a young men’s or young women’s group, please forward our online waiver link to the parents as anyone under the age of 18 requires a signed waiver by their parent. The youngest age allowed in the range is 11. If you have a larger group you can do multiple bookings for the number in your group, or you can contact us we’ll be happy to help you out.
