We are conveniently located on the east side of the freeway by the 90th South Exit in Sandy Utah. Currently there is road construction in the area, so watch for the detour signs to guide you to our location.

This was such a fun place for a group date! The concept is straightforward -- axe, throw. What I liked about this place... compared to the last time I went axe throwing was that they provided a whiteboard and game rules. They provided not just the hatchets, but little throwing axes and even a couple of ninja stars. The location is a little out of the way but not that hard to find if you know where you're going (which of course you do because Google Maps will bring you straight here).read more

The ability to reserve your spot online and complete the waiver... made it so easy to just arrive, get the safety low-down and we were ready to go. They have posted games you can play and whiteboards with erasers so you can keep score. Two different types of axes and a carpeted area right under the target so you axe does bounce back very often. We took a youth group of about 20 people and everyone had a great time. We booked online in advance, which I would... recommend. Everyone used the online waiver so they were able to check us in very quickly. After a short demonstration of technique and safety, we were throwing axes. It took a little bit of practice but after about 15 minutes everyone in our group was able to get some of the throws to stick and others were consistently getting bulls eyes. Our office had an enjoyable hour of axe throwing. Most of us were newbies to it but we were well guided/instructed and... ended up really enjoying it. The staff knew the best ways to help or step back and let us experiment. The suggested games were fun and we ended up doing a tournament bracket. Our group had an absolute blast at R.M.A.T.! The throwing bays were clean and well organized. Axes were well... maintained (sharp and the handles weren't held together with tape like other places). Family and friends from Sandy Utah getting together for an axe throwing birthday party. They are having a great time throwing, watching, eating, talking. The competition got fierce, but the Axe Master of the group was revealed.
It is no surprise that axe throwing in Utah has become very popular. Maybe it stems from our pioneer heritage, our ancestors were lumber jacks from the Rocky Mountains, or maybe we just enjoying throwing stuff! Having an axe sink into the bullseye of a wood target is just really satisfying! Look how happy this group is after their team building axe throwing session! These smiles could be on your teams’ faces!

Targets all lined up ready for axes. Targets and throwing lanes are specially designed to minimize axe bounce back. Lanes are open in sets of two targets which makes it more interactive and fun throwing against your competition. It also promotes more intimate trash talking and high fives.
Axe Throwing is a great activity for college students. This group loved each other even more after a wicked round of throwing. Solid relationships start with axe throwing.
